My baby is growing!

Mad crawled today! She has crawled a little tiny bit this past week but today it was official. She got on those knees and crawled across the room. Today she's crawling, tomorrow walking and then she's gonna leave me to go to college and get married. TIme is going way too fast!

Me? Really?

I love love love love absolutely LOVE being a Mom. It's the best. But sometimes it just hits me that I AM a Mom. Sometimes I'll look at Mad playing or sleeping and it'll hit me that I'm not babysitting her... she's MY baby. This normally hits me when someone is holding Mad and for whatever reason she doesn't want them to hold her so she cries and reaches for me. When I take her she'll stop crying. Really? I used to be one of those people who when I held babies they'd cry until I gave them to their Mommy and now I'm the mommy. It's crazy. I love those little moments where I realize that I am a Mommy and Mad really does love me!

Growing Fast

Well, Madison officially has three top teeth coming in. THREE! I noticed them yesterday. When she teeths she gets runny noses and because of these three little guys her nose is awfully runny. But I must say, she is a little trooper. She's not that grumpy. Nothing is too new with us. Madison hasn't quite mastered crawling but she is scooting everywhere. It's crazy. I'll turn my back to her for literally one minute and when I turn back around she's on the other side of the room. My little girl is growing so fast!

Raging Waters

For our nieces birthday we went to Raging Waters on Saturday. Mad loved the water. She even fell asleep in her floaty. We went to Bear Lake on Sunday for a family thing and that water was a bit too cold for her. But she did like the hot tub there (don't worry, it was like warm bath water). It was a fun weekend. Mad did really well. I wanted so bad to get a tan but all I got was a burn on my scalp and shoulders.


Me and Katelyn.. Besties for life. Our motto is, "Girls forever, boys whatever... but Scott's ok."

Mad's Sleeping Funnies

Mad cracks me up with how she sleeps. She sleeps just like me it's crazy. She lays on her left side (like I do) and she always wraps her blanket up and puts it between her legs and hugs it (just like I do). She also loves sleeping on her tummy every once in a while. She's a crazy girl! I love you baby!

Happy Birthday Scott!

July 30th was Scott's Birthday. To celebrate we had a BBQ with our family. I made him some blue cupcakes and blue chocolate chip cookies. Who knew that you could dye chocolate chip cookies? But they were awesome.


I told Scott to bend low so he could fit in the picture but it turns out he looks like he's just popping a squat.

For Scott's birthday Mad got him a brand new iMac computer. Isn't she great? We love you, Scott! Hope it was a good one.
